Parkwood at Marble Arch

Small and friendly hotel. Location is perfect for a short London trip. Included breakfast is small but the staff is very friendly and everything in the breakfast room and kitchen is clean. Room was clean but you can see the miss of professional handymen. As well is descaler badly needed. Felt safe in the area!

The rooms were not perfectly finished, as is often the case in these old hotels in London, but everything was very clean and the rooms were well equipped with all we needed. The location was fantastic for visiting Winter Wonderland, and for a walk up Oxford & Bond street. Above all, the staff went above & beyond to rectify an issue we had going through booking.com to ensure we had our planned stay. All the staff we met, were really lovely & helpful. We were able to leave our bags in reception, prior to checking in. We had a really lovely stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Parkwood at Marble Arch and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The hotel has a charming, homely atmosphere that creates an immediate sense of comfort. It’s a small boutique hotel, but that’s what makes it so special – it feels safe, and everyone there is incredibly welcoming, which adds to the overall warmth of the place. A highlight of my stay was the breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full English breakfast on offer, which was not only delicious but also the perfect way to start my day. If you enjoy cozy places, I highly recommend Parkwood at Marble Arch. You even have your own key to enter, which enhances the feeling of security and the freedom to come and go as you please. During my time there, I noticed that guests quickly became friends and said hello during breakfast or when they met you in the corridors or steps, creating a family-like atmosphere. It really felt like a community! Additionally, having a heater in the room was a huge plus during the chilly winter nights. Plus, the rooms were clean and well-kept. They also have free WIFI. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning in the future. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth a visit!

The exceptional customer service at this hotel impressed me. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They were also able to recommend places to get any meal that we needed. Gail, the manager is an amazing person and the best manager. She is a great problem solver. Breakfast was lovely too

I frequently visit the Parkwood Hotel in London, and I feel compelled to share my appreciation for the exceptional management I consistently experience here. The manager, Gail is an exemplary leader and host who exemplifies what great hospitality should be. What stands out most is her ability to remain calm and reasonable in all situations. Gail is not only honest and transparent but also has an impressive knack for diffusing any potential conflicts. I’ve witnessed her handle various challenges with grace and professionalism, always striving to find a positive outcome that satisfies everyone involved. Gail and her staff genuinely cares about the guests and go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met. Gails approach fosters a welcoming atmosphere that makes every stay enjoyable. I stayed two nights for the interview in London and met very friendly and nice hotel owners. :) They always greet all the guests and even offer a nice breakfast! The hotel is located just in front of Hyde Park, and you can easily access central London (use the bus!). It only takes 10 mins. I definitely will stay in the hotel again when I go to London again in the future. Already miss the owners Thank you so much for making all the moments in London memorable!

Parkwood Hotel at the Marble Arch is my home away from home whenever I visit London. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect-across the street from Hyde Park (close to Kensington Palace and The Royal Albert Hall) and one block away from Oxford Street. I’ve been a guest here since 2018. I am familiar with the neighborhood. I know where I can get a bite to eat when I come home late and where to shop when I need to pick up a needed item. They offer full English breakfast that is hot and ready. This is a relaxed and safe place to stay in a marvelous city.

Great location, close to bus & tube and right next to Hyde Park. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Room was a good size with everything we needed. The breakfast was tasty & filling with a good selection of breakfast foods. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
